​"I have always been intrigued by looking at sections of paintings, both my own and those of others, and finding nuance and order within a small detail. The definition of redux is to revisit or redo.
 

What I’ve done in this work is recompose a small section from a larger more complex work, at times changing color, adding or eliminating elements to convey a new specific structure.
 

My excitement in doing the Redux Series was to create another challenge, a fresh perspective to what I have done, striving to achieve a fresh, new, result."
